Surface treatment
In the case of crumbling surfaces, fillings or partial restorations, apply the transparent acrylic fixative CeboFix M in one coat, with a brush, diluted 1:1 with water.
After adequate preparation of the substrate, apply CeboFix R in one or two coats, until completely covered, with a short-haired roller, after diluting 20-30% with water.
Application on plasterboard
If differences in absorption and color occur after applying the first coat of CeboArt Pozzolano, apply a coat of CeboFix K primer, diluted 1:2 with water, with a brush. After 6 hours, apply the second coat of CeboArt Pozzolano.
CEMENTO LISCIO application cycle
Spread a first coat of CeboArt Pozzolano, colored in the shade indicated in the folder, using a stainless steel trowel, making long, vertical strokes, taking care not to make them all coincide at the same height. Once the first coat is dry, apply a second coat in the same way; it is advisable to vary the height of the joint between the two coats to avoid unpleasant joint marks. Before the product is completely dry, go over the surface again with a clean trowel to compact it and make it smooth. If the product is too dry, you can wet the trowel with water. Once CeboArt Pozzolano is dry, proceed with the application of CeboSil for a matt and water-repellent effect or with CeboTech to obtain a satin finish.
CEMENTO CASSERATO application cycle
Spread a first coat of CeboArt Pozzolano, colored in the shade indicated in the folder, with a uniform thickness using a stainless steel trowel, following the vertical or horizontal direction depending on the desired effect. While the product is still wet, work the surface with the “fake wood” tool to recreate the grain impressed by the formwork. Before it is completely dry, smooth the product with a clean trowel, lightly pressing down on the excess parts. If the product is too dry, you can wet the trowel with water. Once the first coat of CeboArt Pozzolano is completely dry, proceed in the same way with the second coat only in the chosen bands, delimiting them with adhesive tape and creating the relief design. Once CeboArt Pozzolano is completely dry, proceed with the application of CeboSil for a matt and water-repellent effect or with CeboTech to obtain a satin finish.
CEMENTO DOMINO application cycle
Spread a first coat of CeboArt Pozzolano, colored in the shade indicated in the folder, over the entire surface with a stainless steel trowel, orienting the long strokes in the desired direction (vertical or horizontal), taking care not to make them all coincide at the same height. Once the first coat is dry, divide the wall into squares with a 9 mm tape and apply the adhesive dots with a diameter of about 4 cm to the corners of the squares created previously; then proceed with the second coat in the same way. Before it is completely dry, go over the surface again with the clean trowel to compact it and make it smooth. If the product is too dry, you can wet the trowel with water. Once CeboArt Pozzolano is dry, proceed with the application of CeboSil for a matt and water-repellent effect or with CeboTech to obtain a satin finish.
NOTE:
In interior environments that require surfaces with high washability, mechanical resistance and stain resistance, we recommend the application of CeboSkil.
CeboSkil: transparent, water-based polyacrylic protective finish, two-component, extremely resistant and washable, available in matt, satin and glossy versions. On CeboArt Pozzolano treated with colored CeboTech, apply the first coat, with a brush or short-haired roller, of CeboSkil mixed with CeboCat and diluted 20% with water. Once dry, apply the second coat in the same way. CeboSkil is classified as a painting system suitable for environments with food, according to the UNI 11021 (HACCP) standard.
